  • Nano stem plant
  • Compact growth
  • Bushy ground cover

Staurogyne repens or S. repens is a low growing, compact plant which is not difficult to care for if provided the right conditions. It is often used as a foreground plant in aquascaping or to fill in empty spaces in planted aquariums. S. repens has small, light green leaves and the plant itself grows rather bushy - sending leaves upwards but only to a couple inches high. It does quite well under high lighting, though it is not exceptionally fast growing.

Came in excellent condition

The plant arrived in great condition, with many stems for me to plant in my tank. One month later, it is doing very well for me with CO2 injections and Easy Green fertilizer

Awesome plant

When I opened the box the plant looked super healthy and happy, i actually got three stems in one package! I can’t wait to see it when it gets bigger

excellent quality, lived through shipping in winter.

Ordered this plant to fill in some space around my tiger lotus bulb. came pretty small and cute, shipped to VT from WA. Spent four days in the box and had no die off after a week in the tank! really appreciated that the plants were packed in a thermal pack with a heater for no extra cost because it was cold where they were going. very appealing for a budget hobbier!

Great little stem plant

Looking forward to watching this plant grow. It has a very unique look compared with other stem plants like Bacopa, Ludwigia, etc. The first one arrived melted (molten?) due to a USPS shipping delay, but customer support at the Aquarium Co-op was extremely helpful. They re-shipped the plant, and this time it arrived in great shape, with about four healthy stems total. Even though it's known as a slow grower, they are putting out new sets of leaves at ~10 days out. One plant is already forming a long rhizome.
