  • Nano stem plant
  • Compact growth
  • Bushy ground cover

Staurogyne repens or S. repens is a low growing, compact plant which is not difficult to care for if provided the right conditions. It is often used as a foreground plant in aquascaping or to fill in empty spaces in planted aquariums. S. repens has small, light green leaves and the plant itself grows rather bushy - sending leaves upwards but only to a couple inches high. It does quite well under high lighting, though it is not exceptionally fast growing.

Great addition

It barely went through a melting phase when added to my aquarium. It’s super happy! Nice leaf and stem pattern unlike my other plants. Mine is under direct light for 7-10 hours every workday.

Not for cold weather shipping, didn’t make it and the free replacement also froze .

Did not make the shipping ok and neither did the free replacement

As always, Co-op sent me plants that look better than anyone else’s, packaged better than anyone else, and shipped out faster with a reliable carrier than anyone else.

Came in excellent condition

The plant arrived in great condition, with many stems for me to plant in my tank. One month later, it is doing very well for me with CO2 injections and Easy Green fertilizer

Awesome plant

When I opened the box the plant looked super healthy and happy, i actually got three stems in one package! I can’t wait to see it when it gets bigger

excellent quality, lived through shipping in winter.

Ordered this plant to fill in some space around my tiger lotus bulb. came pretty small and cute, shipped to VT from WA. Spent four days in the box and had no die off after a week in the tank! really appreciated that the plants were packed in a thermal pack with a heater for no extra cost because it was cold where they were going. very appealing for a budget hobbier!

was disappointed but they made it right

-EDIT-
customer service reached out to make this right via gift card. I appreciate it.

Original review below:

Other plants in the shipment, albeit more beginner friendly, were just night-and-day better in quality.
Tiny tiny leaves, almost no roots. Really nothing like picture. I get that it's baby plants, so the small size is fine, but I was expecting them to have a good start with at least some hint of the vigor I saw in the other shipped plants.
From my vegetable garden experience these appear to have been propagated from a flowering plant which seems rather sub-optimal.
