Red Rubin Sword is a beautiful alternative to the traditional Amazon sword because of its broad, oval leaves with green, red, and bronze coloration. Like other similar Echinodorus swords, this plant grows quite large and and is often used as a background or centerpiece plant for bigger aquariums. Provide medium light with plenty of root tabs or nutrient-rich substrate to encourage luscious, healthy growth.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.
Plant Transition
Most aquatic plants are grown out of water at the farms. At our warehouse, we start the plant's transition so they can begin growing underwater leaves for you. As you can see, the rounded leaves are grown out of water while the more slender leaves are grown under water. This is a normal process, and it's your choice cut off the fading, older leaves or leave them.
Arrived in excellent condition in less than 48 hours of placing my order. Already sprouting new leaves with amazing color!!!

Within 2 weeks it's grown 3 red submerged leaves. It's a great looking sword plant. Mine is in a low tech aquarium. Only root tabs. 10 out of 10.

Buy the plants!!
Excellent plants. All of them came full and beautiful. I waited over a month to write a review, and they look even better today. Thank you so much! (Don't forget, you need to feed your plants like you feed your fish. Order plant food too!)

Love the Color and Texture!
This sword plant is easy to grow. As it is converting in my aquarium the color is getting deeper and the stripes on the leaves are standing out. This is more of a mid ground plant. It is grows about half way to the top of my 20 gallon high tank.

Nice plant, good size
This is a really nice sword plant. Good way to add a touch of red to a low tech tank and right out of the bag it filled up a lot of space in my 10 gallon

Arrived looking amazingly healthy.
I received a very healthy plant. No complaints at all. It is not thriving in my tank and I am to blame. This plant is in my 10 gallon, but all of the plants are struggling. I have a 30 gallon planted tank which looks amazing. Not sure why I can't get similar results in a smaller tank.
