The Mini Banquet Block Original from Zoo Med is a time-release food which will slowly break down as fish feed from it. Generally, fishkeepers use these to feed their fish while on vacation. They are also great for regular feeding. Snails and shrimp really benefit from this food as it has calcium and protein and allows them to feed over a long period of time. The mini banquet block will eventually dissolve completely. How quickly depends on the acidity of your aquarium water. May slightly increase hardness of water.

I got these for my shrimp and snails primarily, but the various small live bearers in those tanks eat off of them as well... So far, so good...!!! Keep up y'alls awesomeness and go enjoy some nature today...! Also, try to compliment someone today, it just may change their day for the better...!!!

These are great, inexpensive options to feed nano fish during a short vacation. I always throw one in each of my tanks before leaving for a long weekend.
I also love that I can use them in both of my planted tanks and my saltwater tank as well.
Very convenient when I have to go away for a couple days. All the fish, including the shrimp seem to like it. Bever clouded the aquarium water.

I have a tank of baby mystery snails. I adding two of these at the bottom of the tank to see if they would like it and they ate it all up in a few days
Got here very fast and in perfect condition. All my many community fish loved to pick at this stuff. From Plecos to Corys, to all types of Tetras, Guppy's, Platy's, Gourami, Loaches, Shrimp. Honestly, I never even checked what it is made of, but it must be made of yum yums, since everyone liked it. It lasts a while also so its good for the slower eaters.
Pretty decent if the little guys are pretty hungry, but if they have other sources in the tank such as biofilms my shrimp seem uninterested for the most part. If i think about it, it would be great in a bare bottom tank where these sources may be lacking. Over all great product.
