This pump has a strong output. I'm using it on a Easy flow sponge with collar on my 125 gallon Aquarium. The out put is very strong. The only down side is it is a bit noisy, but I must confess it might seem noisy, because I'm use to the aquarium co-op air pump with battery backup. The co-op pump is very quite, but not as strong as this pump, but still works well in my 125 gal. If you want the extra power and are ok with the increase of noise this the pump is for you. I actually had one single outlet co-op air pump on one side of my 125 with the A300 single outlet pump on the other. The A300 is much stronger than co-op pump, but the co-op pump is much quieter then A300. I chose to use a second co-op pump since my 125 is in my office and I was willing to sacrifice some power for less noise. I will use this in my fish room instead.

This air pump has been great. I’m currently using it for my brine shrimp hatchery but plan to use it for my outdoor pond soon.

It puts out about as much as a 10 gallon Whisper, but 3 times the cost and a bit louder even after the break in period. Was really wanting to like this and bought 1 to experiment with hoping to buy more to individually power all 5 of my sponge filters with the up lift kits. Maybe it works better with a stone, I wouldn't assume it would, but it way under performed my expectations considering the company tests the products. Maybe I just expected more for my needs so I'll give it a 3.

Loud enough that i dont want to be in the room with it, after about a week it suddenly lost power and is on its last leg.

The air pump works great but I found it to be loud, so I went back to my old air pump.
