Jungle Vallisneria

This makes six different species plants that I have bought in the last 2 weeks that have came in absolute terrible condition. There is nothing left of the water spray or wisteria that I ordered last week, the Pearl weed came completely non-existent and that was refunded, now I got four jungle val that literally looked like brown withered pieces of grass stuck in a planter.. the one pictured below is the absolute best one I could find and it is still terrible and I doubt there will be anything left in a week.

My first time using the magic small feed. My fish are loving it. Sponges and easy green are great as usual. However, the plants that I ordered were in rough condition. The jungle val arrived mostly melted. I placed them in my tank still in the pot for 1 week. After removing them from the pot the roots were still healthy. They are now planted and I am hopeful that they will recover. Upon arrival of the 2 Java moss that I received, one was in ok condition and the other was brown and had an odor dying vegetation. I placed both in my tank. One is now dead and the other is weak.
The temperature of the plants was 57f in the box. The tank that they were placed in is a new set-up. Nitrates 20ppm nitrates 20ppm amoninia .25.

For the second time I ordered plants that did not survive the trip. I live in eastern Oregon and mailing time on this most recent order was 5 days. I ordered three Jungle Vals this time; when they arrived one was obviously dead, the others looked stressed. I had previously ordered in the winter and waited until spring to try again. I went ahead and planted them but none survived. I think unless different mailing services are used sending these plants from the east to the western interior is not going to work well.

Healthy, vibrant color. So happy with all my Co-Op plants.

Val lost most of the leaves, I'm assuming because the heat pack did not survive transit (post offices fault not coop) but good news! New leaves popped up within a few days!

I had had my Jungle Val about a week and noticed some brown leaves at the base of the plants, so I tried to siphon them up when I was doing my water change. It is a large gravel siphon, and it took the brown leaves and pulled the plant up out of the sand. I was shocked to find a series of runners already in such a short period of time. All I did when it arrived was tick it in the sand and give it a root tab/. Good plants.

I ordered a few plants including these jungle vals and they came looking very nice and green even after the 4-5 days shipping to me. They came in zippered bags with heat packs and I was even able to split a single plant out into multiple plants which was nice! I inspected upon arrival in a tub to see if any hitchhikers came but even after a couple weeks in my tank, I don't see any unwanted snails etc. Will buy more plants if I need for sure!

I've purchased a few pots of jungle val over multiple orders, and they always arrived quickly and in good health.
