Can’t grow plants? Add this practically indestructible plant to your aquarium and finally enjoy dense, luscious growth. This beginner-friendly plant is easy to grow and tolerant of mistakes. This moss is attached to a flexible wire grid that sinks to the ground or can be wrapped around decor to instantly add a naturalistic element to any aquarium. The thick moss provides a natural spawning spot for breeding fish and offers excellent cover for baby fish and shrimp.
Easiest Plant to Grow
We love this beginner-friendly plant because it thrives in low light, doesn't need substrate to grow, and does great in a wide range of environments. Just feed a little Easy Green all-in-one fertilizer and watch it grow. The fuzzy fronds are perfect for fish to lay their eggs, babies to hide in, and dwarf shrimp to graze on.
Comes Attached to a Metal Grid
Planting your java moss is as easy as dropping it in the aquarium and letting it sink to the ground. Since it comes attached to a flexible metal grid, you can also wrap it around driftwood or other decor to give it a natural look.
I got enough to add a nice foreground for my 55g. I surrounded it will good soil and sand. My catfish love it and it doesn’t float. Would definitely purchase again for a different tank.

Great starter moss
It was secure on the wire and started growing almost immediately. Recommend.

Java moss
Doing well I’ve left it on the mesh it came on for now. I’m going to glue it to some wood I have hopefully Tuesday.

Seems to be doing fine
I really like how it's on the metal mesh. The moss seems to be doing totally fine, but it grows so slow it's hard to see differences day to day.

update from 'not a fan'
I wrote the company just before posting the review. I received an almost immediate response from the company, and a satisfactory resolution. I was given options for resolution, a gesture I appreciated. While this item was not great, the customer service has made up for it. Thank you!

not a fan
When this arrived, it did not look like the lush green moss in the picture. It was sparse and brown. I particularly did not like the sharp edges of the metal grate which the moss is grown on. I rolled it up, to decrease the sharp surface area my fish were exposed to. Then it basically disintegrated and clogged up the filter.

Growing well
Very happy with this Java Moss Matt which can be placed anywhere in the aquarium. It can be shaped slightly to form a curve or kept flat to bridge between 2 or more objects. It is lovely.

Bought to start shrimp tank up again
Cory’s shrimp video motivated to use my empty 5 gallon as a shrimp tank. The moss makes a great addition to the tank.

Java Moss for so many uses in your tank, on substrate or wood.
My daughter has had her tank for about 2 years now. I am the caretaker while she is away at college. So I am sprucing up her tank and have new fish coming too from Dan's Fish. This is for her birthday. I have now ordered 3x from Aquarium Co-op 3x for supplies and have received my packages within 2 days. So far everything looks great. I'm sure I'll be buying again! Moss is green and wrapped around a wood piece.
