  • High Protein Diet Ideal for Discus
  • Unique Pellet Becomes Soft in Water
  • Promotes Healthy Growth

Hikari Discus Bio-Gold is one of the best foods to train your discus to eat dry food. It also contains tons of high quality proteins - even consistent with the amount of protein found in many live foods. Fast and healthy growth can be observed by consistently feeding this food a few times per day. The pellets themselves are unique in that they become soft and spongy in water so that discus have an easier time eating them as well.

Discus Bio-Gold is also the perfect shape to dispense evenly from an auto-feeder and makes going out of town a breeze.

New food

Took my Discus a few days to get used to the food, and now are eating it everyday. Overall, good food to feed your Discus and other fish.

My Discus and Angel Fish like this food very much but so do my much smaller tetras.

One of the best Discus foods.

My Discus go crazy over this and Vibra Bites. Small enough in size to feed young Discus, but still big enough for larger Discus.

Unexpected Go-To Food

I bought this food on a whim while browsing the Co-op site. I take variety to heart and liked the silkworm pupae and other ingredients being different that the krill-based products. My fish were thrilled with the food from the first time I fed it. I don't like the smell of the stuff but my fish go right after it- livebearers, barbs and rainbows. Give it a try.
