Helanthium bolivianum 'Quadricostatus' is a cousin of the pygmy chain sword that is known for its vibrant, spring green color that contrasts well with darker plants and decor. This species has grass-like blades that form into a compact, bushy plant about 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) tall and 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) wide. Provide a nutrient-rich substrate (such as aquatic soil or a well-established, non-soil substrate) or plenty of root tabs for optimal growth.

Nice plant

Had a tiny bit of melting but settling and perking up just fine. Very nice and perky as it turns out.

Way more than expected!

This was my first tissue culture plant, and it did not disappoint! I was expecting a much smaller portion, but as I pulled it out of the cup, it spiraled forever with runners. I planned on trying it in the front of one tank, but had to find homes for it in 3 others. Well worth the money!

Hardy plant

Survived sipping over some of the hottest days of the year. Looks great as a ground cover.

Cover plant

Used this as a “lawn” in the front of my 20-gallon. Working well & looking good. Plant is healthy & happy. Thank you Aq.Coop!

Cute Little Runner

This is a cute little runner plant that you will initially need to use weights on. The culture I received had 8 sprouts on it and I had a really rough time getting it to set, until I used titanium fishing weights to keep it submerged. It has a great look and color to it and I love where I have placed it in the middle-ground area of my breeding tank. Kind of hard to see it behind the dwarf baby tears until it grows a little more. Once I find another place where this one can be used, I would gladly purchase another.
