  • Treats Internal Parasites
  • Plant Safe
  • Invertebrate safe

We recommend using Paracleanse to treat internal tapeworms, a problem that nearly all freshwater fish have when purchasing from a pet store. We use this on every fish we receive in our store and in my personal fish room. It has proven to be safe for even scaleless fish, snails, shrimp, fish fry, and plants. We recommend using an airstone in the aquarium when treating with Paracleanse.

Commonly used to treat:
— Gill and skin flukes (Gyrodactylus)
— Swollen abdomen
— Wasting disease
— "Hole in the head" disease
— Internal tapeworms

Good stuff

Works well, doesn't appear to do any harm at all to scaleless fish or neocaridina shrimp. I don't have an air stone, but lowering the tank water level 2-3 inches seems to have a similar effect with no financial investment.

Can this be used with shrimp and crayfish?

Just wondering if I can use this in my community live planted guppy tank with shrimp and a crayfish in it?

so far, so good

I ordered this med for my tetras whom had parasites, and after the first week (two doses) they are looking a lot better. Will have more to say after I dose again in two weeks.

Works great

Although I was weary of dosing my new fish with all kinds of medicine as soon as they arrived, my 2 angels had recently been nipped by some aggressive black skirt tetras and developed a white fuzz on their skin similar to short cotton. I dosed salt (Fritz Freshwater Salt) and ParaCleanse as directed and it went away.
