We recommend the use of salt for external parasite and bacterial infections. It doesn't take much salt to harm plants so it's best used in a quarantine tank or one without plants. We recommend starting at 1 tablespoon per 3 gallons and working up to 1 tablespoon per gallon of water in severe cases. Remember, salt doesn't evaporate and only leaves your system by changing water.

Definitely my favorite aquarium salt. Love that it's smaller grain so that it dissolves faster. I always have it on hand. So many great uses for salt in the hobby. I also have guppies, so of course it's great for them!
So if I have a 20 gallon tank I put 6 tablespoon of the salt?
This salt has a much smaller grain size than other aquarium salt I have used, and it disolves much better. Seems like it contains less impurities as well (at least visibly).
Way better than table salt, it looks like it dissolves better also makes me have peace of mind knowing it's already processed and no other chemicals are going in my discus tank. Thank you so much for all the good products but also the quality customer service, definitely will keep buying
