To preface, none of this is being blamed on aquarium co-op. Cryptocoryne aren't the hardiest species in general, so when mine arrived looking almost entirely dead-multiple leaves having already fallen off during shipping- while startling, it wasn't too surprising.
As you can probably guess, what followed after being placed in the tank was melt of pretty much all the bigger/older leaves that had survived shipping over the course of a week. Leaving only four leaves a little over half the size of my pinky nail remaining and still looking a little worse for wear.
With all that being said though, it's already experienced a new growth that looks relatively healthy and while maybe not to this degree, this was all more or less expected. My fish still enjoy trying to lay on it and I don't necessarily regret the purchase. Even if it is odd looking between others photos on arrival and how mine showed up, making me wonder "what happened to you?" haha.
So with all this in mind, I'm not advising anyone against buying this plant. Chances are, Your experience will be better than mine and if I bought another, it'd probably be in better shape than the first. I ultimately don't think anything could've been changed with this particular one as some plants handle shipping better than others, this one was more than likely just a fluke.
