Cryptocoryne lutea is a medium-sized crypt with long stems and pointed, green leaves. It grows more upright than many other crypts and can reach 6-8 inches in height, making it a good midground plant in aquariums. This slow-growing species does well in low light and can produce runners that form new plants.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.
How We Grow and Store Our Plants
We store all of our plants in aquariums with plenty of light and fertilizer to start converting their leaves. This picture is from our warehouse. Not all vendors store their plants in water; many store them out of water in bags straight from the farms. This is more time without light and doesn't give them a head start in growing underwater leaves.
Plants always come in looking great. They usually take off after a few days. Very little melt for all Co-Op plants.
Sometimes they can be a little on the small side, but they’ll take off soon enough!

Slow growing
This is a slow growing plant for me, but it is still alive and doing well. I am still getting my 10 gallon aquarium ready for shrimp. Aquarium coop has been very helpful in getting it stocked with healthy plants.

Beautiful lutea
I received a healthy well rooted plant. It is planted in sand with root tabs and it is thriving
There was very little melt, really good for a crypt. As usual Aquarium Co-op delivers!

Crypt Melt
My Cryptocoryne Lutea was pretty much melted when it arrived. It has been about two weeks and it is actually coming back! I hope it continues. Customer service gave me hope and I am excited to see it progress!

Good condition, plenty of plantlets
Shipment arrived in great condition just after the winter snow storm we had in the southeast. There was a handwarmer-type pouch tucked in to keep the tropical plants happy. Can't wait to see them grow (after crypt melt, of course).
