Cryptocoryne spiralis is a taller crypt plant compared to many other Cryptocoryne species such as C. wendtii or C. lutea. This plant has the ability to get quite large and may need to be trimmed back if used in a small aquarium. As the long, slender leaves develop, they will take on a crinkled texture which stands out beautifully in any aquarium. The color of the leaves on Cryptocoryne spiralis are a bright green but may take on a brownish tint once fully matured.

This was included in the six plant mystery box I ordered. Shipment arrived in frigid cold weather but all of my plants were perfectly fine. I love how Aq. Co-Op packages their plants for shipment.
When I received the plant it was extremely cold out and I placed it in my established tank until I could get my new tank ready. It seemed to be dying but once I got it out of the pot and into the new tank it is thriving now. Thanks.
Came in a good size and healthy, didn't melt, growing well.
I opened my plant to find most leaves had ripped off or melted away in the packaging. Hopefully it will bounce back. Aquarium Co-Op missed the mark.
I recently ordered two Cryptocoryne spiralis plants from Aquarium Co-op and both are doing really well in my low tech (no CO2 injection) tank. Shipping was fast to CA and the plants hardly experienced any melt (maybe 1-2 leaves on on plant; other was fine with no melt at all). They are sending out new healthy leaves and rapidly growing in my tank. I've bought several plants (cryptocorynes, microsword, dwarf sag) in the past, and all have done really well with hardly any melt. Very pleased with my experience with Aquarium Co-op!
Plant is thriving
I ordered a few plants and they came individually packaged with a heat pack because it was really cold at the time. All the plants have adapted quickly to their new home. There was a bit of melting but it quickly adapted. For each plant I ordered I was easily able to make 2-4 individual plants. So I ended up with a lot more than I thought I would get. Aquarium Coop is my go to store for almost everything. I love this store.
