Vallisneria Corkscrew has been a popular choice in the hobby because of its ease of care and long, grass-like appearance. Its hardiness makes it great for goldfish, African cichlid, and community tanks. Vallisneria grows very tall in an aquarium and can drape over the top to make fish and fry feel secure. Once well-established, val spreads quickly by sending out baby plants via runners where you can get a new shoot as soon as every 3 days.

This is the first time I’ve felt the need to leave anything less than a stellar review for the Co-op. I recently received two bundle packs—one with regular Vallisneria and the other with Corkscrew—and unfortunately, both arrived in pretty rough shape. The regular Vallisneria didn’t make it, but the Corkscrew might still pull through with some care.
That said, every other plant in the order was in excellent condition, and I’ve had many great experiences with the Co-op in the past. I’m chalking this up as a one-off issue and still trust the quality and service overall.
It was a pretty wilted plant still had some nice leaves though so I’m hoping it will come back healthy but I’ve definitely had other better experiences with aquarium co-op.

This review is not just about the Corkscrew but about all the 13 plants I received about a week ago. All are doing great. That is saying something from someone with a 10 year old tank that had just two plants. Aquarium co op explained the parameters i needed and the right fertilizers. The results in just two weeks are amazing. Thank you
