These bags are made of fine mesh so that water circulates freely around and throughout the media.

Not quite fine enough

These bags seem well put together, but they weren’t fine enough for my use. I bought two for use with Purigen resin, but the granules went through the mesh. I hoped that it would only be a few fine grains that came out during a quick rinse, but the leakage didn’t seem to stop after several moments, so I stopped rinsing, and will be buying new bags.

Filter media bag

I use the bags to hold crush coral for my tank to raise the Ph level in my tank. It works perfectly placed inside my filter.

This is such a comfy store and it was very easy to ask questions. My friend and I were starting our first shrimp tank and they were able to help us get some crushed coral (it's normally hard to find online in small quantities) and our first set of shrimps! Super handy, will order more
