4 way air valve

Great valve. Way better option than the little plastic ones you can find out there. I like that I can have multiple lines connected if/when I need them. I use the retaining suction cups to run lines clean on the side of my tanks.

4 Way Metal Gang Valve

Good Gang Valve. Much more rugged than plastic valves. Should provide many years of service. Would definitely purchase again.

Review of Aquarium Co-op 4 way metal gang valve.

This metal gang valve allows for a split of a single air source into 4 different lines. I am using multiple lines to operate 3 sponge filters from a single air source. The gang valve is built to last being more durable than the plastic ones. Some of the levers to adjust flow to each line can be difficult to turn at the start, but once used they become easy to adjust. The metal nipples are much easier to slide tubing on to than on plastic ones. This is due to the design of ridges on the nipples that allow ease in slipping tubing on, but prevents the tubing from sliding off unless you want the tubing removed. I am using one of the lines as a bleed off so that the other lines are not running with too much air to the sponge filters. I find this best for my set up, although I can adjust each line individually if I choose. Each of my lines attached to sponge filters have their respective valves set to wide open because I want equal flow for each line. Each line has been cut to the same length for my set up. If I choose to run all 4 lines in the future, the removal of the capped end will allow for bleed off with an attached control valve which I have previously obtained. I find this 4 way gang valve to offer a great deal of flexibility for differing set ups. This is a quality product that I find is consistent with other products offered by Aquarium Co-op.

Good valve

It worked just like I needed it to. Dividing the 2 outputs from my pump into 4 sponge filters.

Most Underrated

I honestly believe some of the hidden simple stuff in our hobby are completely overlooked and underrated. I have four freshwater tanks running and every single one has these valves. I run undergravel filters in every tank. Two larger tanks have two uplift tubes each so being able to ADJUST airflow to each tube separately in absolutely necessary. Two smaller tanks have UGF and sponge filters. Same necessity of pushing air to both in the amounts I want is perfect. I'd never order alone, but definitely add to your next order!

Metal gang

Nice, sturdy piece of equipment.
Decent price, fast shipping.
Aquarium Co-Op is my go-to for supplies. Only wish they had a fish store near me.

Simple and cheap

Absolutely nutty value if you have a powerful air pump and you want to drop lines into four tanks. After buying one for a test, I went right back into the shop for another! It has been very easy to attach and detach airline tubing to it, and the levers turn easily and consistently.
