  • Potassium supplement for enhanced plant growth
  • Easy-to-use dispenser for quick dosing
  • Safe for fish, shrimp, and snails

Potassium is a very important macronutrient for planted aquariums. If aquatic plants don't get enough of this nutrient, they can develop distinctive pinholes that are sometimes rimmed with brown or yellow. While Easy Green all-in-one fertilizer already contains plenty of potassium for most planted tanks, Easy Potassium is a useful supplemental fertilizer for people who are running high light planted tanks with CO2 injection or have lots of potassium-hungry plants (like java fern and anubias).

Helping with anubias/fern!

I've historically struggled with java fern, but my java fern trident has done consistently well for coming up on 5-6 months. I attribute much of that success to Easy Potassium.

Awesome Product

I love easy green but I needed a little extra potassium for my anubias and java fern. This stuff is great along side easy green.

Easy like I need!

As a mother of a toddler who is trying to be involved in the hobby, I need easy. I love the easy pump head fertilizers from the Co-op. I’m finally setting up a new tank with a more variety of plants, but currently Anubias is in all my tanks and they had the pin holes. Using this to help support them with their new leaves and it’s working!

Perfect!

I am so glad this exists. I had been neglecting my Java ferns and Anubius because the easy green has nitrates that I don't need with my current fish load. Now I just need an easy micros to replace my seachem one and I'll be set. I can already see better growth on my new leaves. Happy plants, no algae. Mind you, my tank is 75G and gets a 25% water change quarterly. It's been in balance for years.

Great stuff ... but you'll need some patience!

Okay, this stuff can be a lifesaver for your java ferns, anubias, etc, especially if you've got tons of 'em. Thing is ... you're gonna need patience ... and I know how hard that is for folks that want that instant fix. Plants just don't work that way!

This Potassium will feed the plants what they need to make their fresh, beautiful leaves. It WON'T do squat for the leaves that are already full of holes; you're gonna have to do the maintenance and clip those off yourself.

I have a 240 gal. that has been going a few years, chockablock full of plants. They've all been getting the fertilizers Aquarium Co-op has ... and doing great, until ~4 months ago, when I noticed a lot of holes, especially in the Java Fern. I was observing a bunch of tiny rabbit snails munching around the holes, and assumed they must be doing the damage ... except they never used to. After seeing how the Easy Potassium gives the ferns what they need to stay whole, I notice the rabbit snails are still there ... just not bothering the intact leaves. Apparently they'd been attracted to the damaged spots on the leaves, and just doing their job. The Potassium has fixed the issue.

NOW .... sure, there are plenty of other companies marketing this sort of thing, and I'm sure they're plenty effective as well. What makes the Easy line of fertilizers ...well, easy ..... is the simple pump applicator. 1 pump, ten gallons (of water!). Simple. I use the full line twice weekly in all my tanks, and the plants are all doing great. Heartily Recommended by this guy that's been an aquarist for over a half-century!

Really helps with ferns and Annubias

My Java Fern and Annubias are doing so much better with the Easy Potassium. This includes a tank with CO2 and one without.

Easy Potassium

Absolute W. If your tap water is rich in nutrients like mine - over 10 ppm nitrates out the tap with significant phosphate dosing extra potassium is a must. The one flaw to the easy line is fixed. Now there is no argument to be made. The easy line is the best line of ferts on the market, and can work for every tap water imaginable. Every co-op product is vastly superior to every competititor and Cory has contributed more to this hobby than anyone except the inventor of glass, tacashi Amano, and God for creating fish and plants
