Sagittaria subulata or dwarf sag is a great plant for aquarists new to planted tanks. It is relatively undemanding and will spread easily to form an eye-catching, grass-like carpet. It tends to stay shorter in brighter lighting but can grow quite tall in lower lighting.
This is my second time ordering from aquarium co-op. I've been very satisfied with how everything comes packaged, their communication, and the price and quality. On my second order I ordered dwarf sagittaria and they came green and healthy. They've been in my aquarium for about a week and they still look great. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
I wanted a nice carpeting plat that was easy and didn't require Co2. This fit the bill. The plants came in great shape and my Pseudocrenilabrus sp. 'Raha' are enjoying it!
Came with okay amount in good shape. Took a while to root and a few melts, but other than that it is doing fairly well.
Arrived quickly and in great condition. They are already putting out runners after only 7-10 days of being planted in my tank.
Both pots contained small specimens that were melting and yellowing in the packaging. No insulation in the package and plants were on the top of the other items. Customer service replied it was normal transitioning and to give them a couple of weeks. Expected better for the price.
Ordered and came quickly but the plant was stuck to the packaging and when removed carful the packaging pulled all the leafs off and pretty much just had roots
I’ve had this plant for about a month now and it looks healthy and strong. Great shipping.
Bought this plant for carpetting, but the leaves are taller than I expected. Expected them to be lower to the ground which has been usually the case when buying this plant. Some leaves growing close to a foot tall. :(
They are very healthy though.
The plants arrived in great condition and are already making babies. Very little die-back or melting.
It does appear that a ramshorn snail did hitch a ride on one of the plants however. I'm rather bummed about this because I've wanted ramshors for years and it appears there was only one hitchhiker.
Very happy with this plant. Only had a few leaves melt, but new ones appearing at base. Very cute. Definitely recommend.
