  • Unique marbled leaves like little watermelons
  • Tall stem plant that forms bushy clusters
  • Easy to grow even for beginners

Lindernia rotundifolia 'Watermelon' is a top seller at the Aquarium Co-Op fish store because of its extraordinary appearance and easy care. This marbled variety has rounded, green leaves with variegated striping that resemble little watermelons.  Unlike most stem plants that look "leggy" at the bottom, the lower leaves of this species are quite hardy and less prone to melting.

Great little plant

It's very green and looks like it has tiny watermelons as leaves I wish it was a little less flimsy but they are cute and come with an enough to spread out a bit

Made it Safely to AZ

The pot was lush and full. Started growing immediately when I planted it!

Pale on arrival, but lots of roots. Several weeks in it's taking off and I love it!

I was really worried when this plant arrived the color of glow-in-the-dark plastic. However, almost all of the stems had baby roots, and the stems and leaves were firm, not mushy. I planted it and added some new root tabs. Like a fish, this one took some time to color up after its journey. Several weeks in, it is really beginning to take off and I absolutely love the way the little watermelony leaves look. This plant takes a little patience, but is definitely worth the wait!
