Helanthium bolivianum 'Quadricostatus' is a cousin of the pygmy chain sword that is known for its vibrant, spring green color that contrasts well with darker plants and decor. This species has grass-like blades that form into a compact, bushy plant about 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) tall and 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) wide. Provide a nutrient-rich substrate (such as aquatic soil or a well-established, non-soil substrate) or plenty of root tabs for optimal growth.
100% Free of Pests
Tissue culture plants are "lab-grown" at the farms by taking a tissue sample from an existing plant and growing it in a sterile nutrient medium. While tissue culture plants tend to be smaller and more expensive than potted plants, they are 100% free of snails, algae, and duckweed.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.
First tissue culture plant I have ordered from the co-op. Came in looking amazing, easy to rinse and plant, so far looking good in tank. I will try to comment at a later date and describe growth, but as of now it’s A plus and I look forward to buying more tissue culture from Cory and the co-op!

Great
Nice amount in the cup. Looks great and already new growth just over a week. I added another review here but it should have been for a different plant. Both are great tho.

Good
Looks cool and different. Survived shipping to Fl way better than others in my order. I’m very pleased with the look and health of the plants. Nice size portions in each cup with beautiful little roots

Good plant
Was in good shape and spreads rapidly. It looks great once it starts growing. My only complaint is it is very hard to plant, wants to float worse than most plants. So I recommend planting before filling your tank.

Happy healthy plants.
Plants arrived in very great shape, packed very carefully with heat packs. Plants are doing very well in my tank. Highly recommended.

Excellent ground cover!
I love seeing how it has rooted in my gravel and spread over the last few months.

Pretty foreground plant
This plant did not melt and stayed in position after I planted it. It had one very bushy piece and many little ones that pop nicely.

Nice plant
Had a tiny bit of melting but settling and perking up just fine. Very nice and perky as it turns out.
