Eleocharis pusilla 'Mini' is one of the smallest hair grasses and is often used in aquascapes to look like a grassy field or lawn. This slow-growing species stays around 1–2 inches (3–5 cm) tall and therefore requires minimal trimming. For the best growth, use a tank setup with medium to high lighting and CO2 gas. Provide a nutrient-rich substrate (such as aquatic soil or a well-established, non-soil substrate), and the plant will propagate by sending out runners that form a lush carpet in your aquarium.

Nice cup of hair grass. It was in a liquid instead than a gel, so it was much easier to remove. Just rinse it a little. It had a fair amount of healthy plantlets with good roots. I could plant a square area of about 5 inches wide, but it depends on how thick you want to plant it. Overall, I am very happy with the quality, the shipping and the customer service. This and other plants were shipped in a thermic bag and arrived with no damage. I would buy it again.
Definitely would buy again
Purchased three of these to start a new carpet. Each cup contained a strip of about 8" of grass. I cut each into about 1" long pieces and planted them. Every piece still green a week later.
This is my first time ordering these plants growing in the culture cups. The plant is healthy and strong and pest free.

The tissue culture I received was 75% dead, all brown and mucky! I put the best parts of it in my aquarium hoping for some bounce back to no avail.
