Ludwigia Red is a lovely stem plant that can grow both green and red oblong-shaped leaves. In high lighting, the leaves at the top of the plant start growing pinkish-red to deep red, creating a unique ombre effect. Give it plenty of light and liquid fertilizer for faster growth and vibrant coloration.

This plant has, so far, adjusted perfectly in my tank. The plant I was sent was already pretty tall, maybe like 5-6 inches, so that was instantly satisfying to plant. My fish (assorted platies) do love it because they’re always weaving in the leaves. I planted it around a sunken broken pottery tunnel decoration and it is now my favorite corner of my tank! Looking forward to seeing how tall it will get and hope it continues to thrive as the weeks go by! I might even get more of this to plant in other areas because my fish seem to like the smaller leaves on this more than the various swords I have elsewhere.

I got these so I would have something that wasn’t just green. I had read about how some red plants can be tricky and was a little hesitant. Decided to give these a go because it had a nice little splash of red on them and they have been great! They arrived in great condition and have been growing nicely!
This is a nice addiction to my tank. It's growing fast thanks to the plant food.
Plant arrived small and sickly, it lost almost all of its leaves in the 2 days it was in shipment, and every one of its stems broke. I don’t think it was the fault of the seller, the plant was packaged nicely. I just think this plant might not ship well.
This was my first order from aquarium co-op and I will be ordering again. The Ludwigia came in looking great and has taken well in my tank. My order was packed so well and got to me with the heat pack still warm. I also ordered pogo stellatus and an Amazon sword and they were amazing as well.
Placed and order for my daughters new tank. All the plants that came looked beautiful except one. I quickly sent over a picture and they sent out a new plant immediately. All the plants look lovely in our new tank.
First batch froze in transit, co-op sent me replacements but they were also a little frozen at the leaves. They are having trouble transitioning to underwater plants and I hope they survive.
