Cryptocoryne undulata Red is a great beginner plant that features long, wavy-edged leaves that are green and reddish-bronze in color. It has a similar appearance to C. wendtii 'Red,' as well as the same easy care requirements. Because this is a medium-sized crypt which grows relatively slowly, it serves as a great low maintenance midground plant. It will thrive under low to medium light and send out runners as it grows.

Gorgeous plant, I want more of them.
I own all of the crypt plants that ACO has to offer except nurii and parva yet undulata surprised me. The leaf shape reminds me of crypt lucens. The color makes me think of olive trees. Also, it has more upward growth vs the sprawling that I associate with crypts. If you love crypts (or even if you don’t), grab undulata. PS - this plant would look amazing in an Italian scape.

I order 2 bundle boxes and was not let down. The plants are beautiful right out the box. Packaging was outstanding. Plants in gear shape. A great selection of different sizes. I just ordered another box and a couple extra. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this box. Way cheaper than the the box stores and higher quality.
It came in looking good. Then it melted all the way down to nothing. Now it's coming back just a few days later. Can't wait for it to be full grown!
