If you already own an Aquarium Co-Op sponge filter but wish you had greater water circulation, get the Easy Flow Upgrade Kit. By lengthening and curving the uplift tube, water flows out of the sponge filter horizontally across the water surface, increasing the current and oxygenation in the fish tank. No need for an air stone because it also comes with an air collar that creates smaller bubbles for quieter sound and optimized sponge filter performance. It works with the Aquarium Co-Op small, medium, and large sponge filters, as well as our nano sponge filters made after 2023.

I have been using the Easy Flow Upgrade Kit for a little under a year now and am very happy with the flow they provide. The ability to adjust the length of the uplift tubing makes this a great product in my fish room for both my larger (largest 245 gallon) and smaller aquariums (smallest 20 gallon high). I would recommend upgrading your current sponge filters.

I ordered the easy flow upgrade kit to change the functionality of my ACO sponge filter. Im extremely pleased with the ease of use and the heavily increased flow rate and efficiency of operation.
Been using some European metric size lift tubes for matten filters and sponge filters. The bubbles it produced were a noisy large splashy thumbs down, and the air collar gets clogged with debris that had to often be cleared out.
These coop lift tubes are nearly silent, easy to customize height and produce nice small bubbles and don't splash. I'm using these for saltwater seahorse tanks and the salt creep is much less too.
I also installed some of these with coop nano sponge to feed breeder boxes and wow they work great! No more glug and much better water flow. Very glad I got these.
I have several of the og sponge filters. Was easily able to upgrade them! I love not using air stones. The flow is so much better and directional
These extension kits are nice for controlling air bubbles from sponge filters,place the outlet tube below the waterline for more water movement or above the water for a more trickle down effect especially for Bettas or baby fry who don't like swift water movement .
You can control water flow much easier
I purchased two medium filters for a 40 gallon breeder and I went from a hang on the back filter ac70. My tank has never been this crystal clear for half the price and 1/4 of the noise.
Fits perfectly. Easy to install. Arrived early.
Worth the cost to make the sponge filter silent.
