This pleco cave provides the perfect spot for plecos to breed or hide just as they would do in their natural habitat. Works well for bristlenose plecos as well. It can also provide a great hiding place for other catfish and some dwarf cichlids.
Easy Way to Breed Plecos
Bristlenose, rubber lip, and many other types of plecos love to use these caves. Just stick a few in the aquarium, cover them with plants or decor to hide them, and feed the plecos plenty of food to condition them for breeding.
Great Size for Plecos
This terracotta cave fits most plecos that are 6 inches or less. It also has triangular sides so that it won't roll around and can be easily stacked with other caves to create a "pleco hotel."
Got 3 of these caves, spread out in my 125 Gal. Was a bit concerned about caves maybe being too small since my adult's Bristlenose tails were sticking out, but they still spawned 100+ fry, so they work great!

Pleco cave
This cave is like a castle compared to what he had. This is large enough to grow in. Long, smooth and nontoxic. My Cory’s and platy fry all take turns going in and out too. I can’t beat the quality and safety for my fish with aquarium co op products.

Very nice
These are very nicely made and my BN seem to like them. That’s all that matters, thanks for another great product.

Too large for some plecos
The pleco cave is well made and of the correct material. Some of the smaller plecos like bristle nose prefer a smaller cave like 1 1/2”. ACO should look into offering a smaller one.
