  • Delicious treat for fish
  • Similar taste and texture as live brine shrimp
  • Source of natural protein

Aquarium Co-Op Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp is a great treat for almost any community fish. The brine shrimp are gut-loaded with healthy nutrients and freeze-dried into an easy-to-feed cube. When placed in water, the cubes rapidly hydrate and separate out. Fish find them irresistible to eat because they are as close to live baby brine as you can get in a dry food. We love freeze-dried foods as a convenient food to feed because they don't need to be frozen and can sit right near the tank for a quick treat.

Must give these a try!

I have fed freeze-dried cubes before and really didn't care for them, but then I saw a video of Corey pushing the cube onto the glass! The game is totally changed! And my danios love them!

Freeze dried brine shrimp cubes

I have bought a couple of these for my fish and they seem to really enjoy it. My platies, cory's, bettas, tetras and African dwarf frogs all eat it well. I don't stick the cubes to the glass like they advertise because I don't have luck in the cubes staying stuck for long. I tear off small chunks and let it float for the fish and I squish the pieces in the water for the frogs so it will sink. I only feed it as a snack in small quantities and they always eat all of it so I have never had any problems with it clouding up the water.

Fish devour this. Seemed to not cloud water not that it lasts more than a few minutes once fed.

Pretty Worthless

These cubes are like not what I have experienced with freeze dried foods previously ; the cubes are so dry they came to pieces or just dissolved into dust. And my fish don’t seem to be interested in them. They created a huge mess in the aquarium. I think I will stick with Xtreme Krill flakes and frozen brine shrimp & bloodworms.

Fish do love it!

Love the consistency of the food. Easy to feed and fish seem to really gobble it up. Word of caution, each cube holds a lot of food so easy to over feed and leave excess hanging around on top as it does not sink. Additionally, just because it is a cube it will not stick to the glass like tubifex worms. All in all I would recommend it.

Fish go nuts for them

It's entertaining to watch my blue acara grab entire cubes in their mouth and swim off to a corner to hide with them. Smaller fish also enjoy them.
