Automatically switches to battery use during a power outage
Powerful air flow with 5 adjustable levels
1-year hassle-free warranty
The air pump you've always needed is here. Keep your aquarium water well-oxygenated and your fish healthy in absolutely any scenario — even when the power is out. To give you peace of mind, the Aquarium Co-Op air pump utilizes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that automatically switches to battery use if it loses power. It can be run continuously for approximately 20 hours on a single charge and can run in Power Save mode (where the air cycles between 15 seconds on and 15 seconds off to conserve battery) for 40 hours or more. Note: the printed manual has not been updated yet and incorrectly states that the battery runs for 8 and 16 hours.
Quiet Operation
Designed to run quietly, barely above the sound of a quiet library. Its sound levels are lower than a normal household room with everything turned off. In fact, the bubbles from the air in the water are louder than the pump itself.
Storm Ready
Our air pumps have a built-in lithium-ion battery. When the power goes out, the air pump continues to run automatically. Works as normal when plugged in via USB Type C and then continues to run when the power is out. If anything happens, you can trust in our 1-year, hassle-free warranty.
Up to 40 Hours of Battery Power
Our air pump has a nifty Power Save mode. By turning on this feature, the air pump will turn on for 15 seconds, then off for 15 seconds in a cycle. This extends the battery life up to 40 hours, keeping your fish oxygenated during a power outage.
Adjustable Air Flow
Push the arrows button on the pump to set the amount of air flow. The 5 flow levels can be adjusted to create a nice, slow flow for fish like bettas or reduce the bubble noise if needed.
Delivers Air to Both Shallow and Deep Tanks
We built this air pump to be used with both nano tanks and large, deep tanks. It is powerful enough to run a sponge filter in Cory's 800-gallon aquarium, which is 40 inches in height.
This is a great, quiet product for your fish tanks. While personally use this product sparingly since I have a larger fish room which requires a larger air pump. However, I have used this product for smaller fry tanks and as an air pump for summer tubs outside (housed inside a waterproof box). I found this product to be quiet and works as expected. I am especially impressed with the battery backup features and Power Save mode (cycles on and off every 15 seconds). These are a great insurance policy in case of a power outage! Highly recommend!

Best Aquarium Air Pump
This is by far one of the best pumps on the market. It has a power button so you don’t need to unplug it if you don’t need to run the pump all day, and it has more settings than other pumps as well. The intermittent setting and variable air settings are really good. Very quiet on the lowest setting as well which is good for my Betta.

Great Air Pump!
I have the both the single out put and the double.
They are very quiet and better quality than any I have bought from local pet stores.
That goes for everything I have purchased from Aquarium Co-Op.
Prices are great, shipping is always super fast and the packaging is very well done.

They are quiet normally, this one wasn't.
The first two pumps I bought I really liked. They seem to wear out though after two years of continuous use. Also, learned the hard way that they are not water resistant at all. One of mine got splashed and a drop of water made it on to the circuit board inside and killed the power supply. I bought this one to replace the water damaged one, but seems to be some quality issues now. It was very noisy out of the box, the magnet was buzzing against the coil inside the unit due to poor alignment. I was able to steal the magnet/diaphragm assembly portion of the pump from my old one and put it in the new one to get the nice silent yet functional operation back. My second dual air pump is losing it's air pumping power now that it's about 2 years old. It'd be cool if I could buy the replacement rubber diaphragms for these to resolve that problem. Otherwise they work great, power outages are seamless with these.

When they say they are silent they are not lying!
I live in Chihuahua, Mex. so sadly there is no Aquarium Co-op, so I had to try 5 different brands of air pumps but they were all extremely noisy. Luckily I started ordering my products from Aquarium Co-op to El Paso, Tx. and although it is complicated, it is worth it. The air pumps are extremely silent and during blackouts I feel extremely calm because my aquariums continue to work as if nothing was happening. Shipping was also fast and they arrived in perfect condition. I love love love Aquarium Co-op

Works ok
Works decent but the power output seems low and the cord did not last very long before a new one was needed honestly we jus kept bc of the fact it's portable

Noisy dual air pump.
Several years ago I purchased two single outlet air pumps and they are still working strong to this day. They make very little noise. I can only hear the bobbles in the tank. I recently purchased the dual out air pump, thinking that it would work similarly. The Db rating would suggest that it works the same. Not true. It sounds like a broken washing machine and I can hear it from the other room. I seems to pump the air properly, but at a loud cost. I would suggest sticking with the single pump, unless they have changed the way they have manufactured the units, if you want a quieter system.

Good pump
Mostly good for the peace of mind that it’ll continue to run in a power outage. I expected it to be a lot quieter though. I can hear it humming through my cabinet even when placed on a 4” foam pad. I switched back to my quiet HOB, but will keep this for my hospital tank.
