Saved my Loach

I got some Zebra Loaches that were not eating any processed foods, even though they could smell it. When I started feeding this food they were visibly underweight, but they perked up and got to a healthy weight within a week! This is great for any time you need to help fish gain weight or for any highly carnivorous fish like loaches. Just make sure to also feed other foods because blood worms are very calorie/fat dense.

It's ok half my fish will not eat it, but they all eat frozen ones. Idk?

Wonderful price as well as quantity

Best price I have seen for this brand! The first ingredient is bloodworms, which I appreciate. My betta seems to enjoy them. I highly recommend this choice of food!

Did not work for me

I don't know why but my fish didn't take to it. I have guppies, corys, sword females and a female betta. It also dirties the water and causes nitrates to be high. Same goes for my 2 male bettas that I keep separately. I finally tossed the thing.

Hikari Blood Worms

Fish enjoy these Hakari Blood worms. This food is eaten so quickly it seems to just disappear. All these Hikari foods are readily eaten up by the fish. Glad they are so nutritious.

Freeze dried blood worms

Much easier to feed than frozen blood worms. My bettas love them. It's nice that they float until they are eaten that way they aren't as messy and frozen blood worms and don't get sucked up into the filter. The bottle comes with alot, so it will last a long time. Great price

Not sure about these bloodworms.

My glo-tetra nose them to the corner of the 10 gal tank and won't eat them. But the corydoras are happy to inhale them if I wait to put them in the tank 'til nighty night time. It's the only thing they will swim to the top to retrieve. I have tried to feed them frozen blood worms and they turn up their noses and leave a mess for me to clean up. Lil' Buggers! I think we'll stick with these until they are tired of them. They are a no go with the guppies and white tip tetras in my 20 gal but again, the corydoras love them If I wait to feed them 'til the lights are off at night. Since I have such small tanks, I think these will last quite awhile. And, I greatly appreciate the opening which can be manipulated to allow as many or as few to sprinkle out as you like. Good idea Hikari!
