  • Delicate, small leaves
  • Easy to grow
  • Great cover for baby fish

Baby tears is known for its delicate, small, round leaves that add interesting textures and contrasts nicely against larger-leafed plants. This relatively easy-to-grow, medium light stem plant makes a great foreground to midground plant due to its smaller size. If left untrimmed, baby tears can grow up to a foot tall, so make sure to trim it often to encourage low, bushy growth.

Ok, but a little faded maybe from Chicago winter delivery?

I’ve had many orders from Aquarium Coop that have been amazing. This is the only one so far where both plants arrived looking a little faded and iffy. My guess is that it’s mostly about delivery amidst a Chicago-area cold spell. They’re planted and we’ll see how they fare. Cautiously optimistic. But I’ve waited too long on every other order/review opportunity (all outstanding, btw), so I’m sending this one right away – Just as I’m about to order more from AC! And there it is. Even with this one wait-and-see situation here, I have every confidence in Aquarium Coop always. Thanks Cory, thanks AC!

Baby dwarf tears

Ordered on Nov 1, delivered Nov 6, plant survived. Plant was yellow, id imagine from being in a box for nearly a week and starting to turn into an albino version but other than that it was healthy, it is now growing new green leaves from the yellowing stem that I need to cut.

Struggling

This is my second try at the baby tears from aquarium co op and they both came in looking beautiful. My first ones melted away to nothing and didn't make it, far beyond the regular melt not sure what happened there. All my other plants I bought were great so I figured it was just a fluke. Round 2 is going just the same. My crypt and my lily are doing great but my baby tears are melting pretty hard and I fear they might not make it. Any suggestions couldn't hurt!

50/50 on Baby Tears

First order I received arrived stressed and very yellow. Second order was much better and arrived lush and green. Customer service was super excellent and I got a refund for the first plant, used it to buy the second. All’s well that ends well.

Beautiful plant

Plants came packaged great and in great shape, as usual. They are exactly what I was looking for and are doing great in the tank

Outstanding quality

I was so happy when my order arrived. The plants were vibrant and in great condition and the packaging was enough to keep them safe from the elements. My fish love them too! Will definitely be purchasing more later! 10/10 would recommend.

Out of the ordinary, sad plant

Aquarium coop is phenomenal. But, the baby tears I received this time were in mildly poor condition from shipping, but upon opening the wool it was obvious that I didn’t receive an established plant. These were a few very recent trimmings that hadn’t even grown roots yet. I need to grow them out before being able to integrate them into my scape, because being a few unconsolidated stems without roots, they are quick to float up.
