To give you peace of mind, the Aquarium Co-Op air pump utilizes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that automatically switches to battery use if it loses power. It can be run continuously for approximately 20 hours on a single charge and can run in Power Save mode (where the air cycles between 15 seconds on and 15 seconds off to conserve battery) for 40 hours or more. Note: the printed manual has not been updated yet and incorrectly states that the battery runs for 8 and 16 hours.

Have a dual and single outlet. Super quiet! Video is of the dual (the single is just as quiet). Currently connected to two sponge filters (nano and medium) in my 29gal. The single outlet is also connected to two sponge filters with no issues.
Note: my first dual started to be loud after a bit. No points were knocked off because the warranty claim process was painless. I sent a video and the order number and the new pump was in the mail the next business day. Thank you Sarina and Candi!
But it’s not so quiet. My HOB is quieter than this. It is nice but I’ll probably use this for my hospital or quartine tank and look for a quiet airpump
This is a great, quiet product for your fish tanks. While personally use this product sparingly since I have a larger fish room which requires a larger air pump. However, I have used this product for smaller fry tanks and as an air pump for summer tubs outside (housed inside a waterproof box). I found this product to be quiet and works as expected. I am especially impressed with the battery backup features and Power Save mode (cycles on and off every 15 seconds). These are a great insurance policy in case of a power outage! Highly recommend!
I love how quiet these air pumps operate. I had an issue with one of the pumps I bought and a new one was shipped to me quickly. Good pump, and I love the customer service from the COOP team.
I love the single version, so when I needed a double, I knew exact what to get. Has been working great for powering sponge filters.
Such a good purchase! Much quieter than my old one, and the adjustable settings are fabulous. Good to have backup in case of power outtage as well (thankfully haven't had to use that yet). Sinple to use, as well.
When I first got my order I plugged it in, and the air pump was so loud it could be heard from accross the house. I emailed customer service, and had a quick reply sating they would send me another. When the 2nd one arrived it was very quiet and seemed to put out good air. Slight inconvenience having to get the 2nd one but the service was topnotch, quick, and took care of me.
Perefect airpump for an back up. Works as it should. I watched the video and knew this was the air pump for me. I rest with peace knowing my pets are safe if and when the electricity goes out. Thanks Co-Op for another great product.
It's more powerful than I thought it would be. I'm running 2 sponge filters and an air stone and it's working great. I also feel goid about having everything covered if I lose power.
My order came quickly with no issues. The air pump is a bit a on the loud side, like a low buzzing noise. I have not set up the 2nd one up yet so not sure if it is just this one or that is the noise they make. Otherwise it works great and, I got a very cool fish sticker! Tanks Co-op!
