Cryptocoryne lucens grows to about 3 inches typically. It makes a great foreground to midground plant due to its smaller size. This crypt plant does well under low light and grows fairly slowly. It will send out runners as it grows and will eventually form a dense, bushy carpet of narrow, bright green leaves even without high light. However, it takes quite a bit of time, so for a faster carpet effect, use multiple pots of Cryptocoryne lucens.

Fun name to say and it came to me like it was happy to see me. Fed it 2 fat ACO root tabs and stuffed it in the gravel. This is my 2nd favorite plant. Can’t wait for it to grow up big and strong

I received 5 Cryptocoryne lucens plants 9 days ago. They arrived very healthy, and with lots of leaves. They are producing more leaves and getting quite lush. I do not add CO2 or have not fertilized them yet.
