Rotala h'ra is a popular stem plant because of its gorgeous, sunset hues of orange, pink, and red under high lighting. Plus, its feathery, thin leaves provide an interesting texture to the midground or background of the tank. Give it plenty of light, nutrients, and CO2, and it will reward you with vibrant coloration and creeping growth via side shoots.

Minimal melting. It was throwing roots very early. It also looks phenomenal in my setup. Highly recommend to try this one out.
This review is going to be a little odd. I had a shipping delay (carrier issue) when I ordered this with some other plants. My package went missing for about 3 days and the plants ended up in the shipping packaging for 6 days. All the plants had seen better days. This one was the only one that bounced back almost immediately and has been growing well. I am still waiting to see if the others will recover. This plant looks good and is a great addition, I’ll definitely be getting more.
Came in better than I expected. I didn't even get any melt back when I added to my aquarium. It took to the tank within days and doubled in size. Great purchase if you're looking for something that grows pretty fast and has a redish color to contrast against all the green plants.

Good plants! They arrived healthy and with many stems! Also, some hitchhiker snails, but I'm okay with that! No melt-off, and a really red color! Recommended.
Ordered a bunch of different plants, all arrived looking good. Packaging was done very nicely with a warming pack, it was 30 degrees when plants were delivered and all showed no effects from low temps.
This was my first go at adding some red plants to my tank after starting co2 for the first time. I bought 3 total and there were enough stems to fill a whole corner or my tank. Within a week I noticed new growth already!
I am very pleased with the health and arrival condition of my order. I use these plants in my 20 gal with bright light and CO2. They have taken off after a couple of weeks adjusting. Thanks Aquarium Co-op for your excellent products.
