Rapashy silent green

My baby albino bristlenose plecos love this! They started eating it around 3 weeks old. I feed it once a day. Easy to prepare and you can freeze the extra. Thank you aquarium coop!

Great Slow to Spoil Food, Tips for Making it

It can be a bit challenging to make especially in very small amounts for nano fish, but I still love it! A variety of fish will eat on it. I also like to use it if I'm leaving for a couple days, as I know it will last longer and not rot in my tank as quickly as other foods. Warm up a glass container before you put in the hot water and food to mix. This will give you more time to mix a tiny amount before it sets. If needed you can microwave it for 3-5 seconds at a time to re-gel it. When I freeze it, I add a few drops of water otherwise it can get dry and will float in the tank like a hard piece of beef Jerky, which my fish don't really like. It gives great variety to my fish and is great source of veggies since it will stay intact for awhile, so slower bottom fish can find it.

Soilent Green is Made out of... Quality Ingredients!

You do have to put in a little effort to make this food, but it's easy, and kinda fun to make in my opinion. My bottom feeders and shrimp go nuts for it. I make a big enough batch for freezing. Pro tip: Once you've cut your food into squares, make sure to freeze them on a plate, or cookie sheet separate from each other before placing in a container/ziploc. This will keep them from becoming one big lump.

What IS this made out of?

I was happy to find that ACO carried Soilent Green, and at a great price. I mainly got this for my Otos, and thankfully they love it so much. But so do all the other critters between my 2 tanks! Must taste so good, it causes such a frenzy! I will need to do a little trial and error to find the best prep method and ratios, though, as it is messy.

Love Repashy Foods!!

Real easy to make and my fish live it. The best part is that it lasts 24 hours in the tank which allows the nocturnal fish to feed during the night without me worrying about an ammonia spike.

Great Price

I'm so impressed with the prices. Repashy is hard enough to find, especially the greens, but the prices are cheaper here than ANYWHERE else I could find. I live alllllll the way across the country in GA, bit these guys are my local aquarium store.
