This unique sword plant produces short stems with broad, oblong-shaped leaves that feature dark spotting and striking veins. It thrives in environments with low to medium lighting and plenty of nutrients in the ground. Like the Amazon sword, the ozelot sword can grow quite large and therefore looks best as a background plant or a statement piece in a bigger aquarium.

I got myself some carnival goldfish. Man are they destructive. I bought 7 plants to add a little green their 100 gallon tank. As typical the next day I had 6 plants floating at the top. They seem to leave this sword plant alone. I’ve replanted a few times but I have a feeling they’ll kill the plants just like that gave every tank mate I added before I knew they were unremirseful murders they are.
I ordered the mystery box plus two others. All beautifully packed, and healthy. I replants my tank. Kept them in the container experimenting a bit. No melting yet crossed fingers. I am hopeful. Great products
waited a couple weeks to make the review and my plants haven’t melted back at all and are putting out new growth. they look great!

The sword came healthy and full leaves. Looking good in a 30gal tall as a backdrop.
Plant arrived in great condition. It is recommended to use as background plant. I put it in the middle of tank mixed in with my rocks and it is working great. I have taken similar sword plants and used on the sides of the tank giving height.
Purchase 2 ozelot swords, both are now planted in aquarium soil. Been about 1 month both plants doing well. All plants I have purchased from Aquarium Coop have done well in my tank(s).
