Ludwigia Red is a lovely stem plant that can grow both green and red oblong-shaped leaves. In high lighting, the leaves at the top of the plant start growing pinkish-red to deep red, creating a unique ombre effect. Give it plenty of light and liquid fertilizer for faster growth and vibrant coloration.

Unfortunately, these plants just didn’t work out for me, they couldn’t survive being shipped down south, BUT- the customer service was TOP TEIR! Immediately upon my initial concern about my plants I was sent a replacement, and when that one didn’t work out either I was offered a refund or store credit.
I would absolutely buy from aquarium co-op again, just maybe not plants for me.

These came in excellent condition. This is a very hearty stem plant and would do very well in my tank if not for my two Koi that likes to eat the leaves and won't leave them planted. Even after a month of their abuse they are still living. I will order more after my Koi go to their new home this summer.
I’ve purchased this plant twice, and both times it has died despite following all instructions and correct care. None of the other plants I purchased along with it died, they all did great. Pretty frustrating
Ludwigia Repens 'Red'
Came in great condition during a midwest blizzard. Impressive. Well packed with heat packet and insulated bag. Grows like a weed and looks great!

This plant came in good condition. I love the tops of it with the reddish colors. So far it's been able to withstand my 2 Koi who have a habit of destroying plants especially stem plants. These are very tall and are great as a background. I'm sure they will do better once my Koi go to their new home as they do keep uprooting them.
Plants arrived with all leaves dead and broken off; two of the stems were broken. After being planted in fertilized and root tabbed substrate, after two days all stems completely melted and rotted and had to be removed.
