Our Carbon-Infused Media Pads are great for removing discoloration, toxic waste chemicals, medication, and odors from your aquarium water. When added to your filter, it also helps to polish and clarify the water in your tank. This filter pad works similarly to loose activated carbon media but is much easier to handle and manage. It can easily be be cut down to the size of your filter for a perfect fit.

Even if you’re not looking for the carbon part, this pad is part of the trifecta of mechanical filtration. I nestle it between the cut to fit ACO coarse pad and ACO fine pad to give me a clean and clear tank. Best part - it isn’t full of carbon dust! Anyone who has used loose carbon knows what I mean. You rinse and rinse and still see little particles in your water. No dust. No fuss. Yet another cost effective, quality product from Cory and company!

I installed the carbon infused media pad in my hang on the back filters to help control nitrate levels. So far it’s working. Levels have dropped.

The pad was sturdy but easy to cut. I am using it to replace the plastic framed charcoal cartridge for the Aqueon Quietflow. Less plastic to throw away I figured.
You get a much bigger piece than you might think. You can easily cut it to the size you want. Thanks!
These are great for hob filter mods. Better and cheaper than oem cartridges.
