Works in Hard-to-Reach Spots
Our algae scrubbers are great for cleaning tight spots and corners that traditional algae scrapers with a handle can't reach. They're also gentle enough to clean algae off anubias and java fern leaves.
Safe for Glass and Acrylic
Tough on algae but gentle with glass or acrylic aquariums! Your tank walls are safe from damage with our algae scrubbers. To prevent scratches, be careful of picking up any sand or fine substrate. Wipe the walls near the ground in a downward motion, and once you reach the bottom, remove any sand on the scrubber.
I typically use a wide razor blade to scrape algae off glass, but sometimes it leaves streaks. These sponges managed to get everything off and are easy to maneuver into tight corners.

Very effective
I use these on my glass and acrylic tanks. Very effective in removing the softer algae, but you may still need to scrape off the harder green spot algae (although much of it comes off with the scrubber). Very safe for acrylic.

Safety tank scrubber
We have a hexagon acrylic tank that has been impossible to clean. Now the mission is possible! Thanks to these wonderful scrubbers. When I took it out of the pkg., they were so soft, I thought…oh well……BUT they worked AMAZING! We highly recommend them. They are safe for acrylic, so glass will be a snap. No scratches!
