The ruffle sword is a nice change up from a traditional Amazon sword. It's known for having bright green, long leaves with wavy edges and striking veins. Like most sword plants, it can grow quite large and looks best as a background plant or statement piece in a bigger aquarium. The ruffle sword is fairly easy to care for, as long as you give it medium lighting and plenty of root tabs and nutrients in the substrate.
We Include Heat Packs and Liners Free of Charge
We have a custom-developed algorithm to include heat packs and insulating plant liners as needed, based on the weather forecast from our warehouse to your shipping address. This helps keep plants at stable temperatures, both in hot and cold weather. Other vendors typically charge you at checkout for a heat pack. We include them when needed free of charge because it's our job to deliver our plants to your door healthy.
My ruffle sword came in with small yellow leaves and literally no root system. We will see whether or not it grows...

Struggling
This plant is struggling. It came with almost no roots. It’s in the tank I hope it will bounce.

Amazing Plant
The ruffle sword is one of my favorite low-tech plants now. I put this sword in an outdoor holding pond and within 2 weeks I already have tons of new growth. Amazing plant, buy one.
