came in looking good the bottom of 1 of the 2 i bought was a little brown but since i know its nothing to worry about they have to convert to immersed grown foliage.
You receive a beautiful piece of material with Java Moss on it. Some dies back in shipping, but it grows so fast, it comes right back. This is good stuff to reduce nitrates and it spreads and looks good too.

I ordered two mats and they just died right away. I've got other types of moss in the same tank as well as Java moss from another source that are doing fine, but this browned up right away and didn't come back.
First order moss mat didn't look good so I contacted aquarium co op and they sent me a new one. The new one came in looking great . So far it's going good. Shrimp love it

What can I say about java moss. It's very green and in very good condition. A little smaller than I thought it would be. I thought it was 6 inches, but apparently she measured it and it's only 2¾ inches Square. I told her it's not the size but the quality. She wanted something bigger. I told her give her time and treat it right it'll get bigger. It's been just over a month and it almost doubled in size. I like the metal backing. Let's you wrap it around your wood. Or cut it into any design you want, triangle, runway strip, or just let it grow bushy. It's a great buy! I use it for Crustaceans and I have little crabs all over it. Recommend!
