Aquarium Co-Op Unbreakable Catch Cup

I use this cup all the time - mostly to hold tools, plant trimmings, sponges, etc. as I get my new tank established. I've accidentally dropped it on bricks a couple of times with no harm done. Great product!

Thicker plastic than other brands. It should resist cracking. Definitely worth the cost.

I keep buying these so that I have one within reach of each tank-- I don't think that I can have too many. I use these for inspecting and sorting fish, tank-to-tank transfers, and incubating eggs. I haven't broken one yet, though note they do get slightly hazy with use, and also pick up a little tannin staining if incubating eggs with alder or catapa, that can be somewhat addressed by cleaning with H2O2/water solution after use. The long side opposite the lip also bows out slightly with time and use, which doesn't affect performance.

Works great for get my African dwarf frogs out of the tank to feed them. However I thought it would be smaller that it is.

I am very clumsy and constantly drop things. So I am pleased to say this catchup is a wonderful addition to my tool, set. The unbreakable aspect is the most important part of it. But the signs and stability as it hangs on the side of the tank makes for total convenience. Thank you again for high-quality products.

Well maybe not literally but it is very tough. I have used it to transfer fish and shrimp from one tank to another. That is is primary function. It also makes a good scoop to remove or add sand and gravel when tearing down or setting up an aquarium. I do not have to worry about breaking it in the course of managing my aquariums and the inhabitants. I highly recommend it.

This specimen container is made of crystal clear thick plastic and is perfect for photographing fish! It holds up well to being dropped repeatedly on concrete floors as well (I'm clumsy.) I have been able to get great, clear photos of guppies and plecos. I've had a lot of specimen containers and this one holds up against them all. The only change that I'd being interested in seeing is a spout, at least on one end, to make bagging and transferring fish easier.
