This is the only food that draws out my shy Sparkling Gouramis even if the light is on. The Guppies and Corys enjoy it also. Great new product!
I picked this up at my local RPP store and my entire community tank loves it! The tetras are running around and grabbing it out of the water column, and the Corydoras are frantically looking everywhere for each little piece that eventually falls to the ground. I also love how it keeps slowly feeding into the water column; the food caught by the surface tension of the water travels into the path of my hang on back filter and progressively kicks more into the water over time. Great product!
I have struggled to get my teeny tiny Sundadanio goblinus to feed on anything but baby brine shrimp and daphnia. No more! They love this stuff! The shrimp they share their aquarium with love this stuff, so do my phoenix rasboras, my various neon tetras, baby Apistos, honey gourami, and endlers. I'm so pleased! Apparently it's delicious, and it floats briefly at the surface, then drops and swirls around for a bit before settling on the bottom for scavenging.
I have always been a “binge hatcher” of baby brine. I raise rare swordtails and baby brine is a must to maximize my fish. But it just is not practical with a busy family life. For years I have repeated the patter of few weeks/months of hatching daily but then life catches up and the guilt sets in for not being dedicated to my fish. This feed changed my hobby! My fry and shrimp are going absolutely gangbusters for this stuff. The gains in my swordtail fry are equal to baby brine, perhaps even more as this feed is easier to give several times per day. Truly a unique feed as I have tried everything else and have a shelf full of grinders of all shapes and sizes. Do yourself a favor and get this feed now!
Just as Cory explained. This food circulates at the top of the tank b/c of the Easy Flow filtration. This gives the guppies plenty of time to eat and then as the food starts slowly settling for the shrimp get their share. This will
be my go to food for all my shrimp and guppy tanks. Looking forward for the community tank version of this food, as my angel fish saw me feeding this food. :-) Well done Cory. Great product!
