Fragile

Was trying to straighten the thermometer in the suction cup and it shattered in my hands. The glass on this thing was paper thin.

Hard to read

Tiny thing. Thought it would be good at a quick glance on my 23 gallon and it is incredibly hard to read unless you are right up to it.

A hard to read, but gets the job done

It's a bit hard to see the red line of the thermometer, and what exactly on the scale it's referring to. Sometimes the suction cup is a bit hit or miss, but once you get it to stay on, it will stay on (if that makes sense). Overall a decent option, just not the most user friendly.

Numbers are too narrow, hard to read

The temperature numbers are way too narrow making them hard to read.

Suction cup no longer works

Got this for a QT, eventually the suction cup stopped working. Now I use it to check the temp when doing water changes. [Hands aren't very accurate due to Raynaud's.]

Works perfect!

Was wondering if my digital thermometer and heater was working so decided to try this as well. Found out my digital has been working perfectly! Never hurts to try low tech as well.

Easy to read

I like the GREEN ban on this thermometer. At a quick glance I know temp is in a good range.

Accurate, but annoying

I bought a bunch of these thermometers. They are accurate, but my problem with them is that the range of temperatures that matter to fish keeps 65-85 is in about 1 cm of space. Its hard to tell if the temp is 83 or 77 without getting super close. I've also had some issues with the suction cup not sticking for long and I find the thermometer just floating at the top.

Tiny increments and numbers may be hard for some people to read. Keeps accurate temperature to verify against our digital unit.
