  • Green, textured leaves with red-brown undersides
  • Low light and easy to care for
  • 100% clean with no algae, duckweed, or snails

Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Mi Oya' is a lovely variation that has the same size and ruffled leaf texture as C. wendtii but the leaves are bicolored — green on the topside and red-bronze on the underside. The coloration varies based on the lighting and fertilizer. This crypt plant is easy to care for, can take low light, and likes to feed on root tabs and nutrient-rich substrate.

On average, it can reach up to 8–10 inches (20–25 cm) tall and is often planted in the midground of tall tanks or background of nano tanks. This plant is slow-growing like most crypts, but once the roots becomes well-established, it will expand by growing new plantlet nodes from the root base.

Healthy Plant

Planted in the corner of my 55gal tank using easy green and root tabs. So far so good!

Came in beautiful

These arrived in beautiful condition!
Then, of course, have begun melting. Which is probably normal, since that's all above-water growth. I'm not panicking. I'm not panicking at all.
...
YOU'RE Panicking.

Will try to remember to update this with a photo in the future when they start growing back :-)

....It'll be fine.

Bigger than I thought!

You know how other online seller pictures try to make there plants or pots look bigger than the actually are? The Coop does not disappoint. It is well worth the money. Locally I can't get half this size for the same cost. I love them, and will be buying many more tissue cultures from them.
